Upon hiring Janet Makrancy for our wedding florist, she asked myself and my husband a few questions about what we liked and what was important to us in our relationship. We’re avid hikers who frequent the Adirondacks, and the most important things in our lives are our dogs.
When I walked into the venue, I was blown away at the sight in front of me. Flowers, leaves, trees on every surface. It was like being on set in a wooded fairy tale movie, she completely transformed the character of the venue into something so different from what we started with, it didn’t even look like the same place. The level of attention to detail was unbelievable, she even created almost like statues of our dogs made of wildflowers and grasses and sticks. Janet Makrancy shows a level of skill and artistic flair that clearly shows her genius and years of experience. All the wedding guests (and the venue staff), were floored by the decor. It was truly a once in a lifetime night, and we owe that in large part to Janet’s vision and dedication. She’s nothing short of a genius. Jenna was also a key player in the success of our wedding. Making sure every detail and timeline was met. While helping us breathe and enjoy the beauty of our day. We will be forever grateful for them and their team!
